Piedmont

The Region is surrounded  by mountains (the Alps) and in the eastern part there are  two beautiful Lakes : Lago Maggiore  and Lago d’ Orta. Turin is the Regional capital , famous for its automobile industry ( Fiat ) . A must for the tourist in Turin is  the Egyptian Museum , the most important in the world after the one in Cairo . The Asti province is  famous for its wine and for the Truffle Fair in Alba .

Where I would like to take you :

  A part from the Egyptian Museum  we will visit the various Royal Palace( Unesco World Heritage Site)  and among them The Royal Palace and the Gardens of Venaria Reale (www.lavenaria.it)  and the two Lakes : Lago Maggiore (www. Stresa.org) and Lago d’Orta ( www.orta.net)   with Orta San Giulio that is perhaps the most bewitching medieval village,
